Daniel O’Connor has over 30 years of experience as a leader in Engineering, 20 years of which were dedicated to engineering procurement and construction (EPC) and construction management (CM) projects in the oil and gas industry. Within that time period, 10+ years were focused on heavy oil. Daniel O’Connor has also played key roles in heavy oil in-situ production projects that took place in Northern Alberta, the Middle East, and North Africa. Collectively, his experience has provided him with a thorough knowledge of upstream oil and gas gathering facilities, gas treating, sulphur handling, natural gas liquids (NGL), liquified petroleum gas (LPG), and fractionation from conceptualization to commissioning and operations support.

Most recently, Daniel has participated in the review of new technologies and in development projects intended to translate advanced technologies from concept to commercialization in heavy oil and conventional oil and gas applications. He is proficient in planning, design, and coordination and possesses valuable skills in the disciplines of project management and project engineering. Daniel has excellent interpersonal and communication skills that enable him to motivate a culturally diverse project team to expertly achieve client goals.
